ALLICO YABA JOSEPHINE
The story of AYJ
WHO ARE WE ?
Created in 2018, Allico Yaba Joséphine is a French brand, combining creativity and European know-how.
Our ambition : to create top-of-the-range shoes adapted to different silhouettes.
My dear burgundy bathrobe
If you haven't noticed it yet, the color burgundy is dominant in the universe of the AYJ brand. This burgundy is on the outer sole of the shoes but also inside each closed model (pumps, boots, ballerinas).
"This omnipresent burgundy in all my creations is subconsciously a nod to my father's bathrobe. He is a man who instilled elegance and class in me." - Joséphine Yaba

A family affair between Paris ...
AYJ is not just a shoe brand, it's a family business that started 20 years ago.
At the end of the 1990s, Joséphine joined several drawing courses, including that of the Ecole Françoise Conte (Ecole Conte). After this short stint, she was admitted to the bootmaker training at AFPIC-APFA for a training (CIF) as a designer-pattern maker in shoes and leather goods in the Paris region (Romainville).
In 2000, she obtained her certificate of fashion design. In 2001, under the responsibility of Mrs. MAREST of the French Footwear Federation, she presented her collection at the MIDEC show under the brand of AYK'styl as a young designer.
After a career spent in telecommunications, the 50-year-old designer is launching her new brand of shoes by taking up the line of her models revisited in broad daylight via the AYJ 2018-2019 collection.
... and Berlin
During her childhood, her daughter, Inès Kassubeck, saw the models and heels developed by her mother evolve.
Living in Germany for 5 years, the young woman has just completed her language studies while working in the cultural and advertising world.
Inès, associated with the project and in charge of promoting the brand internationally, captures photos of her models today and communicates between Paris and Berlin.
